Don Latarski will be performing solo. He’ll be providing the soundtrack to a 9 part series of videos he created to accompany the 9 part River Suite as heard on his River CD. Don performed this soundtrack and premiered the videos at the Blue River Library in the Fall of 2025. The response was overwhelming. The music lasts about 35 minutes. Tom Titus’s writing explores the messy interface of human experience and our increasingly wounded world. He’s a biologist who has authored or coauthored over thirty scientific papers, and at least three books of poetry and essays. Tom says “I’m deeply grateful for all that humankind has learned over the millennia. Yet to become alive, science needs beautiful stories. Charles Goodrich, from Corvallis, will be reading from his newest book of poetry, “Knot House.” Knot House brings together a generous selection from four earlier volumes of Charles Goodrich’s poetry, along with thirty new poems. Readers discovering his work for the first time will feel they’ve met a new friend, while those familiar with his work will revel in finding fresh aspects to this multilayered poet. At the heart of Knot House is a quest for a deeper sense of community with the land, the weather, the waters, and the creatures of Goodrich’s chosen home in Corvallis, Oregon.
