Heal Your Career Wounds is for those who are exhausted, disillusioned, or quietly grieving the gap between the career they hoped for and the one they have. Mandy speaks to the people who feel stuck under a toxic boss, trapped by golden handcuffs, lost in analysis paralysis, or constantly battling rumination and self-blame.

Rather than treating burnout as a productivity issue or self-doubt as a mindset problem, Mandy asks readers to consider something much deeper: What if these experiences are emotional injuries? What if what we call “professional setbacks” are actually wounds? And what if the path forward isn’t to work harder, but to heal?

Through journal prompts and reflection exercises, Mandy helps readers:

Recognize the replication of harmful patterns

  • Free themselves of poisonous workplace narratives that are no longer serving them

  • Grieve unlived dreams, let go of self-blame, and keep an open heart

  • Create their own closure by rewriting their story

  • Discover their unique medicine and become the architects of their new relationship to work

“You may feel like every day is the same, nothing will ever change, you have no options, and so you might as well give up,” writes Mandy. “But the truth is, things do change. You do have the power to make decisions (maybe small ones at first, and then larger ones) to take charge of your situation and turn things around.”
