Show-of-Support Day #2 regarding The Future of Tsunami Books. Your Pledge of Support, be it monetary or gestures of any form, is Essential
The Lease for Tsunami Books is up June 30, 2017. There are other major business concerns that want to take over the lease for this property beginning July 1, 2017. We do not want to leave, but do not yet have the financial resources to stay. We have asked for, and kindly received the opportunity to deliver a proposal for a minimum five-year lease to the building owners no later than March 31. Over 500 people dropped by the Bookstore on February 8, our first Show-of-Support Day. Over 250 pledge forms have been turned in. There is still a long way to go to secure a new lease. We have a full day of music, poetry and prose scheduled. Locally handcrafted ice cream generously provided by Red Wagon Creamery, and cookies by Edible Improv. Please feel free to drop by for some Winter fun. Scott will be here all day to answer questions. Pick up a pledge form and one for your friends.
