About Alexis
From a young age, Alexis begged her mom to let her take piano lessons. She finally got her wish when she was 6, and has been playing ever since.
Her teachers instilled in her a love for practice and cultivated her motivation to become a musician. Her passion for music led her to move to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon when she was 18.
She received her Bachelor of Music in music performance from the University of Oregon in 2010. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Russian and Eastern European Studies.
She is now a full time piano teacher in her home studio in South Eugene. When not teaching, she spends her time with partner Micah and daughter, Iris. She enjoys trail running, mountain climbing, mountain biking, reading, and playing with her dog and cat.
