Eugene Willamette Writers presents a talk by Erick Mertz, entitled: How To Feed & Nurture Your Bad Guys.

Well-crafted villains are an integral part of writing across all genres. What most writers miss, however, is just how needy their story's antagonist really is. In this presentation we will explore bad guys and villains in both movies and books to see just how much page and screen time they actually need to thrive.
