October’s Community Spotlight focuses on Greg Evans, longtime Eugene City Councilor from Ward Six. Over the years Greg has been a member of the Lane Transit District Board of Directors, President of the Lane County Fair Board, a Board Member of the National League of Cities, and is currently President of the Oregon League of Cities, as well as Chief Diversity Officer at Lane Community College.
The audience Q&A is always interesting.
Community Spotlight is a City Club gathering in which local leaders participate in informal interviews about their lives and work. Tsunami Bookstore hosts the event on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 6 pm. Light refreshments are available, and the public is encouraged to attend. There is no admission charge for Community Spotlight, but guests are invited to contribute to help cover the costs.
